I would like to know whether CPQ can accept decimal volume numbers when we upload the CPQ volume input file

I have a file that contains decimal values under the “Total Packages Import Column”, but when uploading the file, these decimal values are not considered.  The input file shows a total volume shows of 376,718.81, but after uploading it to CPQ, the total volume is shown as 376,507, ignoring all decimals values.

I am trying to understand how the system is designed to handle total volume calculations.

Hi!

The number of decimals displayed in Smart CPQ depends on the format of the column receiving this information during the import. The format of a given column is defined in the quote model via the PROS Quote Designer interface.

If the import file contains values with 5 digits but the corresponding column in the quote has a format allowing none, then the value will be truncated during the import operation.

You can find more details on how to define column format on our PROS Connect portal.

Thanks for your question.
